Despite rumors that Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada has been canoodling with Chad Ochocinco and things are “getting serious,” Lozada was spotted eating dinner with a mystery man at A Fish Called Avalon on Tuesday night, where she was overheard telling people they were on a first date. Sources say the two acted romantically at the restaurant, having cocktails and sharing an appetizer, and they drew out the night by taking a walk down Ocean Drive.

Congrats to drag queen Elaine Lancaster, who tells us she is the only female impersonator in the U.S. to have her own day proclaimed by a major city. Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower proclaimed Aug. 27 as Elaine Lancaster Day in the city of Miami Beach. Where else, really?

New Found Glory front man Jordan Pundik went to Cafeina in Wynwood Saturday night after wrapping up a concert at Bayfront Park. Currently on tour with rock band Paramore, Pundik was spotted in the lounge drinking cafe con leche martinis and snacking on crab cakes. The low key rocker’s entourage included his nine months’ (!) pregnant wife, family and friends. Before leaving, he stopped in the kitchen to pose for a picture with Chef Guily Booth and complimented her crab cakes. He then checked out Cafeina’s current art exhibition by Laurence Gartel before joining the band on the tour bus.

Chef Michael Schwartz will appear on an episode of the Cooking Channel’s Fresh Food Fast With Emeril Lagasse at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. In the episode, the chefs visit the Casablanca Fish Market on the Miami River and Paradise Farms in the Redland. Schwartz will prepare hog snapper ceviche, while Lagasse will make a yellowtail snapper on the half shell with fish shipped to New York from the Casablanca market.

Meanwhile, dining at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink Thursday were Emilio Estefan with Miami gallerist Gary Nader and another unidentified guest.

Today style editor Bobbie Thomas hosts a free Lash Buzz Event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday at the Four Seasons. Thomas will discuss the wonders of LATISSE, sort of the Rogaine for eyelashes. Thomas is also supporting a philanthropic campaign, the LATISSE Wishes Challenge, supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Singer Chris Brown was at the Clevelander for a late Labor Day lunch with an entourage of approximately eight, one of which, according to our source, was a “very pretty” female. Brown was described as “very amicable” with the staff and fellow diners, posing for pictures with fans. He drank only lemonade.

Director Michael Bay was spotted eating dinner at Prime Hotel on Sunday night with a few friends. After dinner, Bay joined Myles Chefetz on a tour of his new property, Prime Hotel. Bay noticed a black and yellow Camaro parked outside the hotel and said to his friend with a smile, “Look, it’s a Bumble Bee,” one of the characters from his Transformers franchise.

Miami Heat player Kenny Hasbrouck was spotted at Morton’s on Brickell Tuesday night. Actor Jamie Foxx and rapper Pitbull were seen at Philippe for the restaurant’s Thursday night party.
