Deli Lane & Sunset Tavern’s 1st annual SPINY LOBSTER TOURNAMENT will take place on July 28th & 29th…be part of the action when scores of boaters vie for catching & winning the largest lobster prize. Contest includes cash, prizes & an awesome after party at the TAVERN & supports 2 great local organizations, The Stiltsville Optimists and The Surfrider Foundation.

WHY: Raise money for two amazing charities…
· Stiltville Optimists – Throughout the year the Stiltsville Optimist Club brings Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and many other youth groups out to the Miami Springs Power Boat Club stilt house in Biscayne Bay. These trips teach young people the importance of marine environmental conservation and how to identify the many species of marine life in the clear water surrounding this magnificent stilt house. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime for these young people to swim, fish, snorkel and experience nature at its best. www.stiltsville.org
· The Surfrider Foundation – The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 90 chapters worldwide. Locally, the Surfrider Chapter of Miami is active and strong, working hard to protect South Florida’s oceans, ocean wildlife and coastal habitats. www.surfridermiami.org
