Nikki Konefsky Deas
Born and raised in Miami, Nikki Konefsky Deas has been working in the fields of Public Relations, Marketing & Television Production since 2001. Currently she is a Partner at Vine Communications, a company she co-founded in 2006. Vine is a Public Relations and Marketing agency that combines creativity and strategic planning to create winning communications campaigns for their clients. Located in the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Vine services local, national and international businesses that share in the company's vision of Inspired Communication.
Nikki's previous Public Relations experience includes employment at global communications company, Hill & Knowlton and The Max Borges Agency, a tech-centric Public Relations firm. Nikki managed corporate communications for a variety of clients in the consumer products, technology and real estate sectors and her responsibilities included overseeing national media relations campaigns and the development of innovative and newsworthy branding initiatives. Past clients include: Proctor & Gamble, Sunbeam, Oster, Mr. Coffee, Pollo Campero, Homekeys and Alienware Computers. Her work has resulted in numerous media placements in high profile outlets such as CNN, The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, Red Herring, NPR and The New York Times.
Nikki also has extensive experience working as a Producer in the Television Production industry. She has created marketing and promotional videos for some of the biggest names in the travel and tourism industry including Club Med, Holiday Inn, Wyndham Hotels and the Alaska Tourism Association. In addition, Nikki has also produced packages for several national television programs including The Today Show, Dateline and Extra-TV. Locally, Nikki was an Associate Producer with production company We Kid You Not, the team that created the museum exhibit videos for the Miami Children's Museum on Watson Island. She was responsible for writing scripts and coordinating the filming for vignettes that highlighted the Port of Miami, Carnival Cruise Lines and the Florida Everglades.
Nikki is a member of many business and professional networking organizations and is currently the Chair of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce Cultural Affairs Committee.
